Burrard Inlet Fireworks Society
The Burrard Inlet Fireworks Society is comprised of the District of West Vancouver, City of North Vancouver and Mike Shardlow (Canada Place Corporation). The purpose of the Society is to provide, design and implement fireworks displays in Burrard Inlet for the enjoyment of the Society’s citizens to commemorate and to enhance celebrations in recognition of municipal, provincial and federal holidays.
The Fireworks Show:
The Burrard Inlet Fireworks Society will proudly present the 3rd annual Canada Day Burrard Inlet Fireworks show at 10:30pm on Wednesday, July 1st. The Fireworks have become an integral part of Canada Day festivities in the Lower Mainland. This display helps to showcase our great country and celebrate our freedom and diversity. The simultaneous two barge, high altitude display is viewable from several locations. In a truly unique way, this multi-community event brings Canada’s diverse citizens together for 20 minutes of focused time to honour our great nation.
Hundreds of thousands guests viewed the fireworks show from several different communities.
The show is produced by David Clark at Concept Fiatlux, an award winning pyrotechnic firm. The two barge simultaneous show was a first for Concept Fiatlux and required exceptional timing and logistical planning.
