Canada Day at Canada Place

Vancouver, BC – Canada Place proudly presents the 22nd annual Canada Day at Canada Place celebration from 10:00am to 7:00pm on Wednesday, July 1 – Welcoming the World to Canada’s Games! This year’s high impact program includes a day long street festival with three Canadian entertainment stages and all Canadian music including Elise Estrada, Soulstream, Delhi 2 Dublin and more; top ten finalists from “So You Think You Can Dance Canada”, 20TENT – a chilled winter experience, the Road to 2010 Community Tour and Vancouver 2010 Mascots, the Flying Canucks, kids’ activities and much more! Admission is free.

To start the day’s festivities, 61 new Canadians will take their Oath of Citizenship during the annual Citizenship Ceremony. Hosted by CTV’s Pamela Martin, attendees will also be invited to reaffirm their citizenship in an outdoor ceremony, enjoy entertainment from the Naden Band of Maritime Forces Pacific, and hear moving stories from inspirational Canadians.
